Graduate Summer Internships

Two 10 week Summer Graduate internships are available at the Utica Institute Museum. The Oral History position will help collect, catalog, and preserve oral histories from the campus community, as well as folks in the Utica area. You’ll learn about oral histories and help people tell their stories. The Archives Digitization position, will help digitize and preserve records from the Utica Normal & Industrial Institute Archives. Photographs and documents will be scanned and cataloged in Omeka-S.

Interns must be enrolled in a graduate program in the Humanities or Library Sciences with a background and/or interest in oral history & archival preservation. Familiarity with HBCUs and/or rural populations preferred.

To apply, please fill out this form! If you have any questions, please contact Dan Fuller or Jean Greene.
